Music Hall

We took advantage of the free babysitting with grandparents in town,
and Greg and I slipped away to the symphony at Music Hall.

We loved it so much that we took our kids back--on Halloween!
It was a kids pops concert, and it was so much fun! It opened with Darth Vader conducting the "The Imperial March" with a light saber! It was so awesome!

This year we had Wilbur Wright, Vampire Bride, and Polar Bear.

More October

October was a super busy month. Here are a few more things . . .

Choosing pumpkins:

Playing basketball with Grandma and Grandpa...or riding your trike in the middle of it:

Sara loves school, indoors and out:

This is Mary dressed up for her 3rd grade music concert:

(I was out of town observing at a Montessori school in Wisconsin for the week. So sadly I missed the concert. But I heard she did a great job!)

Wright Brothers Day

My parents and Aunt Janell stayed for a visit after Mary's birthday. David and Mary skipped school one day, and we all spent the day in Dayton at the Wright Brothers sites (there are a lot). My parents had recently read David McCullough's book and David had just decided to be one of the Wright Brothers for Halloween, so it was the perfect time to make the visit. It was a fun and lovely day! We'll always remember it.
